The President of the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival Igor Ugolnikov thanked Kaluga citizens for the comprehensive support of the festival and told them about the planned programme of screenings and special events.
"Our task is to give an opportunity to all interested residents of Kaluga and Kaluga region – as some of the screenings will definitely take place in smaller towns in the region – to take part in the festival, get acquainted with modern "space" cinema, attend meetings with cinematographers, scientists and cosmonauts," said Igor Ugolnikov.
The main festival events and film screenings will be held this season at the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics and the Kaluga Innovative Culture Center. In addition, it is planned that the festival venues will also be the House of Music and the Pro Arts contemporary art space. Regular broadcasts of the Festival Diaries, news about the programme and the winners of the competition will be organized by Roscosmos Studio in partnership with NIKA Broadcasting Company.
The final document of the meeting was the plan of organizational and technical measures for the preparation of the festival, which determines the timing of their implementation and the responsible executors. Having signed this multi-page document, Deputy Governor of Kaluga Region Konstantin Gorobtsov and Igor Ugolnikov marked the beginning of the final stage of the Festival preparation, once again confirming their common interest in the successful development of our project!
