Tsiolkovsky Space Fest - 2022

Dear friends, space lovers and fans of everything connected with it!

We are glad to inform you that the submission period for participation in the competition of the 3rd International Space Film Festival "TSIOLKOVSKY" is now open (Submit on Festival). We are waiting for feature-length and short films, as well as documentaries, animated films and series dedicated to space. Our forum reveals the relationship of space with science, art and culture in competitive, out-of-competition and retrospective screenings.

The purpose of the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival is not only to show the audience extraordinary educational films but also to strengthen the traditional dialogue between scientists and cinematographers to solve topical problems of the development of science, culture and technology. An important educational mission of the festival is to popularize the issues of the past, present and future revealed in all the diversity of space research.

The next Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival will take place from April 12 to 16, 2022 at the site that has already become traditional for the forum - the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky in the ancient and friendly city of Kaluga!

The submission deadline is January 15, 2022. Create art, and we will be happy to watch it – the audience of the film festival is active, erudite, curious and talented!

The dreams of the great Russian philosopher Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky continue to inspire humanity and, in particular, the creators and participants of our film festival:
"The Universe is nothing but an infinite and complex mechanism. Its complexity is so great that it borders on willfulness, suddenness, and randomness; it gives the illusion of free will possessed by conscious beings. The Earth is the cradle of humanity, but one cannot live in a cradle forever".
