A timeless setting at the crossroads of different eras. A noble estate in a small town. The janitor Gerasim, not considered a poor man, decides to brighten his leisure time by purchasing a robot dog. He lives by intuition, merging reality with fiction, and sees the boldest inventions in his dreams. The local noblewoman’s tyranny knows no bounds - she possesses the ability to bend anyone to her will. When she encounters the robot dog, she deprives the janitor of his only friend once and for all. As he struggles with his moral anguish, Gerasim uncovers the secret behind the robot dog’s existence. Meanwhile, the noblewoman discovers her own destiny - to become a messiah in the fight against a machine uprising.
