Two Photo Exhibitions Opened as Part of the VI Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival

On the opening day of the film festival, two space-themed photo exhibitions were launched at the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics!

“Baikonur Through the Lens of TASS. Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Baikonur Cosmodrome”

This exhibition showcases key moments in the life of the Baikonur Cosmodrome as captured by TASS photojournalists. It was opened by Ekaterina Titova, Deputy Head of the TASS Administration, and Hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Yuri Baturin.
“The First Cosmonaut Team”

Organized by the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, this exhibition commemorates the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the first team of cosmonauts in February 1960. The exhibition was opened by Marina Malyutina, Director of the Archive, together with cosmonaut Yuri Baturin.

The Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Government and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Kaluga Region. Festival partners include State Corporation "Roscosmos," Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center Research Institute, the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics, the Kaluga regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteers of Culture,” and other public and commercial organizations.

The festival’s key media partner is TASS, supported by media partnerships from Roscosmos Media and TRK "Nika."
