27 Documentary Films Included in the Competition Program of the VI Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival

The films will be screened from April 12 to 16 at the venues of the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival. As tradition holds, the festival’s main venue will be the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky.

Festival guests will have free access to more than 100 feature, documentary, animated, and full-dome films from 25 countries. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the Soviet past through classic retrospective films, attend lectures by scientists, theatrical performances, master classes, meetings with cosmonauts and filmmakers, and special presentations by festival partners.

The documentary section features 16 short and 11 full-length films from Russia, the USA, China, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Mexico, Spain, and the Republic of Belarus.

The Program Director of the Documentary Film Section at the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival is documentarian, journalist, and seven-time TEFI Award winner Igor Prokopenko.

The short films are thematically divided into several groups: Celestial Bodies, A Broad Perspective, Around the World, and Rockets. Spacecraft. People.
