Submissions for the VI Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival Are Still Open!

As of today, we have received over 1,500 submissions from more than 110 countries worldwide. Traditionally, the highest number of films come from Iran, India, Brazil, Turkey, the USA, France, Spain, China, Italy, and Argentina. We also have entries from Egypt, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco, Serbia, Kenya, and many other countries.

The most popular category remains short fiction films, making up over 45% of submissions. Animated films account for 18%, while documentaries, feature films, and full-dome productions are less represented. This means you have a greater chance to showcase your film at the festival and win an award!

Submit your space-themed work by January 15 to participate in the competition. Films must have been produced no earlier than 2023.

The best entries will be screened at the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival, which will take place in Kaluga from April 12 to 16.

Submissions can be made via the FilmFreeway International Festival Platform or by emailing the festival at spacefest@yandex.ru.

The Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
