The documentary Business Trip to Orbit was included in the retrospective program of the festival. The film was shot 50 years ago by cosmonauts Alexei Gubarev and Georgy Grechko during a space mission aboard the long-duration orbital station Salyut-4.
In 1977, the film received the Silver Prize at the 10th Moscow International Film Festival and then faded into obscurity. With the support of the State Film Fund of Russia, the film was scanned specially for our festival and saw the light of day again on April 13. Olga Gubareva, daughter of one of the film’s protagonists and creators, watched it for the first time along with the audience in the hall.
