“There’s no one who knows more about aliens than I do, and no one has suffered more from them than I have,” Igor Prokopenko jokes about himself. A documentarian, journalist, TV host, author, seven-time TEFI Award winner, and the program director of the Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival’s Documentary Section, Prokopenko brings both expertise and humor to his work.
On April 13, at the House of Folk Art and Cinema “Tsentralny,” Igor Stanislavovich held a creative meeting with the people of Kaluga, where he presented an episode from his project The Most Shocking Hypotheses.
“In this project, I have the right to talk about anything. Because, as the dictionary says, a hypothesis is neither true nor false. A proven truth becomes scientific truth, while an unproven truth becomes a scientific problem,” said Igor Prokopenko.
Following the screening, he answered numerous questions from the audience.
