The V Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival will be held at nine venues

The V Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival will be held in Kaluga from April 12 to 16. The anniversary festival will be dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin, Soviet and Russian cosmonauts.

This year, the ISFF will take place at nine venues. Traditionally, the main venue remains the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics.

Festival events and film screenings will also be held at the Innovative Cultural Center, the Central House of Folk Art and Cinema, the House of Music, the Kaluga Puppet Theater, the Kaluga Regional Scientific Library named after V. Belinsky and the Village Theater. This year, the film festival has two new venues: Kaluga State University and the Regional Youth Center.

Screenings of films from the competition programmes will also be organized in cinemas of the Kaluga region.

The Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival in 2024 is held with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Roscosmos State Corporation and the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, the Government and the Ministry of Culture of the Kaluga Region, the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics, the Association of Planetariums of Russia, the Nika TV Company and other public and commercial organizations.
